Kew Gardens is my new thing – we’ve got yearly membership which is a bargain compared to the £13 entry for a one off visit. We all had a great day. Its perfect for prams (lots of paths), young families and little Freddie (20 months) had a fantastic time running through the gardens and playing hide and seek with his Dad. There is just endless green space.

Just so many beautiful flowers. Even when Daddy got bored (he always does he hates walks!) I just gave him the camera to take photos which kept him out of mischief. The cafe is always the highlight for Daddy so we finished the afternoon with a huge coffee cake and lots of very tired kiddies.
There were so many families out today, enjoying time together and with friends. There is lots to see for the little ones, from the many plants in the glass houses, the adventure playground and ‘Creepies and Crawlies’ area for the toddlers. Visit the Kew Gardens site for more info.
Have you been to Kew Gardens? Where do you like to spend your Sunday afternoons in the great outdoors?
